[BINC]OBJECTS
currently in progress 2026
BINC Objects are currently emerging as conceptual art objects from the everyday-born
series of overflowing bathroom bins,
the Bathroom Bin Collection (BINC).
mangomewn seeks to make the haptic, olfactory,
and tactile residues tangible,
assembling them piece by piece from the remnants of daily use into honest objects.
These objects are then cast in epoxy resin.
Confinement and compression, the breathlessness of everyday life,
and a certain sense of overwhelm
all play a role in this process.
A kind of “umbilical cord” is meant to find its way outward, creating a connection between
inside and outside.
Through a delicate, open tube,
the object is able to breathe
— and to connect with us.

BINC OBJECTS
prior to milling, BINC OBJECTS are assembled as sculptures from real bathroom trash and then cast in epoxy resin.
Before the milling process, the object is fitted with a faceted outer contour and technically prepared.
