Bathroom Bin Collection [BINC]
2018-2022
You had one job and you failed 173 times...
...and left something disgustingly beautiful
BINC emerged from an everyday situation — a domestic rhythm that kept repeating.
In a shared household, a bathroom bin was meant to be emptied regularly, yet it rarely was.
Over months, the accumulation turned into something else: a quiet monument to avoidance, routine, and resistance.
What began as irritation shifted into attention.
The recurring sight of the overfilled bin revealed a fragile balance between excess and stillness, intimacy and detachment.
Through these unintentional compositions, mangomewn discovered a visual language that treats neglect as form, and the overlooked as a site of quiet beauty.
Overall, the series consists of 173 works.
Captured entirely with iPhone 7 and XS — the series preserves the immediacy of the everyday, unfiltered and close to the act of seeing itself.
